is there any news about implementing this feature of every properties in a persistent object.

I think that when you use WCF this could be a very great improvement.

There is a big problem with this subReports... The main thing is that it is impossible to lock them for example in tables in cells... Have to write in script for solving the problem with the location :(

Dennis, if you guys are planning on removing the ReportParametersObjectBase or deprecated it you better add proper support for standard XtraReports parameter to the APS.NET target. Currently we were advise by DevExpress support staff to use "standard"/"native" Xaf filtering, meaning ReportParametersObjectBase approach because the ASP.NET target didn't provide an usable UI for referenced properties (filtering on other domain objects), while the "native" approach fulfilled this capability.

HI, deserialization is great but serialization is better :-)

On this KB www.devexpress.com/.../S20047.aspx

the feature is TBD but 'till today nothing happened.

Do you think that we will see this feature implemented ???

Not in a console application as JavascriptSerializer is in the System.Web namespace.

Could this feature (or another ?) be used to implement the use of server-side functions also? For example, I have a SQL Server 2008 (or PostGIS) backend to my XPO objects and I want to return a geographic object in a particular formet...

I can do select ST_AsText(field) in the query, but then I have to manually map it later... could I bind this using an XPO attribute or custom function?
