I'm glad that I'm no longer dreaming this one up. My VisualStudio 2008 disappeared so often (many times per week), that I've renamed it to InVisibleStudio!

Thankfully it has not happened for awhile now.

PS. I wish MS could close the IDE this quickly when trying to exit.

Quite frankly I can't wait for vs2008 to disappear with the hope that vs2010 is a lot more stable. vs2005 was one of the best releases for stability.

I still run into the serialization issues with components even after working directly with Microsoft on getting the patch done...if you have large apps you see the problems more often but vs2008 still crashes on me a few times a week. It is however pretty good at recovering though.

While building the XtraReports using Ribbon End User Designer in my select query the Schema name is coming along with Table or view name, so kindly let me me know how can i frame my select query without schema name here i am using Oracle as back end it is very urgent for me....

end-user messages should not be a problem. That's why I'm happy about the quality of these resources.

The italian localization is quite perfect (up to 95%). Is it possible to contribute to the remainder 5%?

For examples: merge is better translated with "unisci" than "fondi"

Do you see these language packs as a pure "community project" or are you doing any QA? Can I put as much trust in the quality of them as I do in any other DevExpress component?

You're too fast ;-)

Now you can download both unified archives - with CHM and PDF files. Note however, that the unified archive with the PDF documentation is quite big - >500 Mb to download...

OK, I found the cause of the problem: Windows Vista security (what else is new... :( )

The solution was to right click on the file and on the first tab page click "Unblock".

Maybe you could point this out on the helpfile download page or as a readme file in the zip-file for all of us stupid enough ever having "upgraded" to Windows Vista.
