Scott Guthrie was recently asked if they would add support for Hebrew, Arabic and Persian and he said that's something that they are considering. You really want this feature to be part of framework, rather each vendor trying to implement that their own way.
However, last year there was an Israeli Developer who had developed a semi driver for WPF that he showed words both in Arabic and Hebrew.

Does MouseLeftButtonDown event fire with your grid control or does it suffer from the same problem as the MS version? In other words, it doesn't work. If I am correct, and the event does not work, could you please suggest a work-around.
