In an earlier post, I announced Multiple Document (MDI) support will be introduced for the End-User Report Designer in the v2010 Vol 2 release of DXperience. Following that post, we published a video tutorial on how to build an MDI designer as well as how to upgrade an existing SDI designer to support multiple report loading and editing.
Our Reporting Suite also enables you to easily roll out your own Ribbon End-User Designer using DevExpress controls. The new ribbon-based designer too will support tabbed MDI and can be easily created and customized in a few short steps.
