OMG, do you want to start war between my wife and me ? What might she think about me offering such nice skin to my female customers ?

Well, how could we show it just for females and not males ? ;-)

Hi,

how about also creating skins that celebrate other countries'/cultures' events:  your customers are scattered all over the world and so are their customers.

Cheers

I am a 7.3.5 customer, but I don't want to install the 7.3.7 components... is there a separate download for the V-day skin somewhere else on this website?

Lee,

Unfortunately there is no separate download for this on our site. This skin is available only for DXperience 7.3 owners and you need to install the 7.3.7 components to use it.

Thanks.

I just installed VCL build 1.33 and I hope that this skin will be available for VCL customer also, but it is not. Is there any chance to have this skin for VCL also? Thanks.

Hello Petr,

Yes there is a VCL version of this skin as well and it'll be available soon. The team needs to do some additional testing before its release.

Thanks.

Stll regarding VCL I noticed today that DXperience also includes 2 skins not available for VCL: Office 2007 Pink and Office 2007 Green.

Would be nice to make them available for us, VCL users.

Thanks!

Hello Nuno,

I've been told that these two skins are ready now and will be included in the next update which should be released in about a month or perhaps sooner.

Thanks.

Sergey from the VCL Team has uploaded the VCL version of the Valentine skin on our FTP here: downloads.devexpress.com/.../dxValentineSkinVCL.zip

It's only available for registered users (the folder requires the Client Center account credentials to access).

Here is the Readme.txt file:

===============================================================

How to install the Valentine's Skin.

1. Copy dxSkinsLookAndFeelPainters.pas to the <DXVCL>\ExpressSkins Library\Sources folder.

2. Run the Express Install in Recompile mode.

3. Compile and install the dxSkinValentineXX.dpk package in your IDE (here XX is your Delphi version).

NOTE: To apply the skin at design time you'll need to install the package. But you can still use the skin without the package by including the dxSkinValentine.pas unit in your project. However it'll be necessary to set the SkinName property value of your components programmatically such as:

 <dxSkinController>.SkinName := 'Valentine';

Please review the "How to Apply Custom Skins in the Application" topic in the ExpressSkins Library's documentation.

Hi Carlos,

I don't know if we plan to have the Valentine's skin for ASPxGridView but for the 8.1 release, there some very cool new skins for the ASP.NET products. If you have DXperience access then check out the latest beta.

Thanks.
