This past week Seth Juarez, Jeff (or video guy) and I had the pleasure of going to the first Dallas Day of Dot Net. It was a great event 300 developers for two day getting exposed to all types great topics. I did a session called From Port 80 to applications where I talked about the history and basic’s of web development it seamed to go over quite well. Seth did two sessions “Hands on Design Patterns In C#” & “Machine Learning for .NET” witch both went over quite well. Chander Dhall organized the event and did a great job he event got Ayende Rahien aka Oren Eini while there we were lucky enough interview Chander and Oren.

I have to one of my favorite thins about the trip was having the speakers dinner at Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse was great I don’t get good BBQ in California so this was a real treat. The amazing thing is Chander and his wife are vegetarians and they still brought us here.

Chander hopes to put on more Dallas Day of Dot Net in the future and I hope I can be there.
