I have four ASPxHtmlEditors in one of my pages and they seem to take forever to load the page (im currently still writing code in VS08)..I can only imagine when it gets deployed and the server gets traffic how that will slow things down.

Is there a way to disable the htmleditors until required? I saw this case, http://www.devexpress.com/Support/Center/p/Q97976.aspx but I cant figure out if its added to 8.2.4. The case does seem fairly old, so not sure whats the status on this.

If not, what would be another suggestion to handle this?

Unfortunately, we haven't yet implemented this feature for the ASPxHtmlEditor.

We understand the problem, but we cannot suggest anything without taking a look at your project.  Please post your project to the Support Center, so that we can investigate it and suggest a workaround.
