ASPxScheduler and iCalendarExporter.Export with 6 hours of difference

In my application, when exporting my appointments to an ics file using the iCalendarExporter and then open the ics file in Microsoft Outlook 2003, I realize that there are 6 hours of difference between the date/hour appointment in my application and the exported appointment in Outlook. Why is this difference? What do I have to do to fix it?

     Hello,

Please review the "How do we manage time zones in iCalendar and vCalendar import/export?" thread which can be found at: www.devexpress.com/issue=Q183640. Does this help you?

Thanks for your answer, but it doesn't help me to solve the problem I have. I need to know in pratical terms what I have to do set the correct hour in the appointment when openning the file in Outlook.

Please check the time zone settings for the server, your host and the ClientTimeZoneId property of the ASPxScheduler. If they are the same, you shouldn't experience the time difference. You can open the resulting .ics file in any plain text editor and check for the TZID attribute - it indiicates the time zone to which the appointments belongs.

If the problem persists, please ask our Support Team for assistance - use Support Center at http://www.devexpress.com/Support/Center
