Programs like Omea Pro, can watch web pages for changes as if they were rss
feeds, and will notify you if those you have chosen to watch change.

Although I prefer a normal rss feed myself :)

Yes, even IE 3 or 4 did have that feature. I was more puzzled because the OP doesn't use RSS

The problem is when the RSS feed tells me that there's nothing new when I've been used to fighting to keep up I start to orry that the RSS feed has gone belly up and have to check for myself!
