     Hi

How can I activate Rename key (F2).

In VS 2008 was working but in VS 2010 it's not working anymore.

I need to open the refactor popup menu and here to select Rename.

In Options Dialog at IDE Shortcuts Refactor! Alternate Bindings I have F2 grayed and at Context it's Code Editor but not Intellisense Active.

    Thank's

    Answer

By default the Alternative Bindings are Disabled, select the Alternative Bindings "folder" and Enable it, then all the shortcuts that are in the Alternative Bindings should come to life ;)

    no problem,

Funny thing is it caught me out at first as logically we go to the shortcut and check if it is enabled, only to find it is, it isn't very intuitive that the Folder has actually "disabled" the shortcut. Umm... might be worth putting in a support center request, about something additional in the UI to show that the shortcut is "disabled" by the folder.

Have posted a SC Suggestion for it http://www.devexpress.com/issue=S135000

Holy Crap, that was quick (even by DX standards), DX has reviewed, requested more information, accepted and implemented within 2 days.

This is why I just can't live without DevExpress, they are dead set legends!

With such a great feedback from you, Guys, we could work much harder. Sometimes it takes only minutes to fix bugs, e.g. http://www.devexpress.com/issue=DB31958 Smile emoticon
