How to generate CSV file using ReportToolbar

Hello All! Has everyone any information how to generate CSV file from Xtra Reports Report? I tried to use toolbar's CVS ComboBox and then selectd but it didn't not generate CSV compability file. Can Anyone help hown to generate CSV e.g. from pdf file using XtrtaReports toolbar?

Second question is that if I and an external Icon to ReportToolbar that should generate CSV file what methods should I override and and how to code CSV generating?

    Cheers

    Hello,

First of all, what version of XtraReports are you using? It is important because there could be some issues with this option in earlier versions.

Also, please provide us with information about your browser. And, describe the symptoms of the behavior in greater detail: whether a file is being generated (though it is non CSV -compatible) or no file is being generated at all? Are there any warning messages? Does this option work in XtraReports Main Demo (shipped with the installation)?

Unfortunately, I didn't get what you mean by saying that you need to generate a CSV file from a PDF file. You are only able to generate CSV from the initial report. You cannot use the toolbar as a converting tool from one format to another. Or, maybe I just got you wrong?

We are having a similar problem.  We are using 7.3.7.0 and when we export to CSV using the report toolbar it creates a file but it is not csv.  It appears to be a fixed-width file.  This also happens when using your web demo for this version of the software.

First, I would recommend that you upgrade to the latest available version of XtraReports. And, if this misbehavior still appears in the latest version, please appeal directly to our Support Team at http://www.devexpress.com/sc, and they'll certainly investigate it.
