    XtraLayout Control ...

I've had the opportunity to try out the XtraLayout Control for the last few days. Using WinForms, this has been an incredible experience and tool. It took a day or so to truly get the hang of it, especially when nesting several layouts and controls; can be very frustrating in the beginning. However the learning curve, the time spent adjusting and uncovering its abilities is well worth spent. I felt compelled enough to come and make a point of this for future DX users. I've used several winform components from other vendors and none match the power mixed with ease of use as DevExpress!

Thank you DX for creating/maintaining/ and inventing such wonderful components.

I can't agree more, it is one of the best controls I've seen in years. It reminds me of my old Amiga days where we had MUI (Magic User Interface). Unbelievable it took more than 10 years to have the same capabilities on Windows Big Smile

I'd like to get some help. Any possibility of sharing an email addr so I can send a couple of questions directly to you? Or even reply here?  I've got a xtralayoutcontrol and have a bunch of controls all stacked up vertically. Depending on a radio button control (at the top) selection, some controls hide, others show. But the thing is that I want them always to line up vertically. I don't want blank spaces top to bottom. I just want all the controls in a stack basically. When one is hidden, the rest move up in its place. Is this possible?

    Hi,

It would be best if you would create a small sample application so that we can have a look into it.

    Cheers,
    Holger
