I keep getting the same error on the server, but not on the local machine. Any ideas? Thanks.

Could not load file or assembly 'DevExpress.Web.ASPxGridView.v8.2, Version=8.2.4.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=9b171c9fd64da1d1' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

I ran into this problem and it took me a while to figure out.

you will have to copy the DevExpress.Web.ASPxGridView.v8.2.dll file into your bin folder on your web server.

it should work fine after that...

Ya I had same issue. It was a version issue for me. If you exchange files with another programmer or server then you need to make sure the version matches with your compiler.

One of the first things I did was check that versions and then make sure that the bin has the same copies. I see nothing that could be the problem, so I know there's something I'm missing. Any other ideas?

you could also try to see if in IIS that you have the project as a application.

i forgot to do that when i copied my files onto the server and ran into that problem.

so yeah, check to to see if that's the case...
