Delphi7, EQG 6.26 

I have found that ApplyBestFit can be *very* much longer in Vista than XP.  Is there a workaround? 

I have a 5 column grid, where one column is a memo field containing big data. The grid normally BestFits that column to the first line in the data which is just right.  Usually, there are 5-10 rows.

In XP, the ApplyBestFit may take up to an entire *second*, however, in Vista, it takes up to a minute.
