I don't seem to find any answers to this simple problem.

I have a flat (meaning no details) ASPxGridView, and cannot find a way of after selecting n rows, and then clicking a "process" button, the code behind grabs an object which is a collection of selected rows and performs an action on those rows.  I recall doing this some way using the regular .Net GridView control, but it's been about 9 months since I've done it, and my mind is a bit rusty on that.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how this can be done?  It would be greatly appreciated, as I'm working on trying to build a webui licensing generator for a program, and this would be a lifesaver.

Take a look at our selection tutorials and demos first and see if they help you:

• Advanced Selection
  
• Simple Selection
• Disable check boxes used to multi-select records
• Enable one row selection in the grid with Radiobuttons
• Select multiple records by clicking them while holding CTRL or SHIFT pressed

Also take a look at the section on ASPxGridView.Selection Property which has a nice sample also.

 None of those examples show anything about capturing the data from the selected lines.  I would think it woudl be in the Selection part, but that is only select/deselect the rows.  I need to propagate through the selected rows.  any ideas?

Yes, you can use the ASPxGridView.GetSelectedFieldValues Method, there is a sample included also.
