JS error ( _aspxCreateClass undefined) when loding a page via Server.Transfer

On a page with an aspxbutton, when I load the page via a server.Transfer, the client JS does not work because _aspxCreateClass is undefined. The same page works find when loaded via Server.Redirect. I've noticed that one of the JS references to the DXR.axd handler is missing when the page is loaded...
