  • Webchrtcontrol Export to PDF page orientation

    HI ALl, I'm using Webchartcontrol 8.2 (Yes I know its old) Trying to export my chart to PDF. I am using the clinetsite method Chart.SaveToWindow('pdf'); THis works great, however the page orientation is Portrait. How can I change it to Landscape, as well as change the margins. Thanks Robert

    Hello John, This problem looks very strange. Probably it's somehow related to the capability to print via the Adobe Reader plug-in. This feature was introduced in v2008 vol 1, and to revert to the old behavior, set the ReportViewer.PrintUsingAdobePlugIn property to False. In any case, I suggest that...

Also, it would be greatly appreciated if you download the latest XtraReports version and try to reproduce this problem locally.     Hi Doron, Thank you for your explanation. The fixPng is used to fix the png transparency problem in IE 6 (note that this problem was fixed in IE 7). However, it turns out that this leads to an IE 6 image printing problem (this problem was also fixed in IE 7!). So, submitted a bug report concerning this...

    Hello Laura, Please refer to the following example: http://www.devexpress.com/example=E544 . This example demonstrates how to export a web chart, while to print a chart, you need to change the SaveToDisk method to the Print method.
