Winners Announced – The ComponentSource Easter Egg Hunt

Thank you so much to all of those of your who took the time to participate in our ComponentSource Easter Egg Hunt.

I received literally hundreds of emails in response to this contest, and I was really pleased that such a huge number of you found it a happy little distraction from the Visual Studio 2010 hubbub. But in equal measure, I was shocked to find a surprising number of you who didn’t recognise one of, if not the most recognisable developer, Scott Guthrie – shame on you! For those of you who didn’t enter the contest, here were our pictorial clues:

Scott Guthrie Lots of eggs A finger pushing a button

The correct password was, of course, Developer Eggs Press or Developer Express.

With almost 200 correct answers (and a huge number of not so correct answers) we had a fantastic response to the contest. But we can only have two winners, and those winners were:

  • Henrik Brinch
  • Pete Sykes

Both Henrik and Pete will receive their choice of either the award-winning DXperience Universal or the full VCL Subscription. Many congratulations to you both!

Thanks again to everyone who took part. Please leave your messages of congratulations for our winners in the comments below.

We hope you enjoyed celebrating the ComponentSource Bestseller announcements with us. Without you, your support and your enthusiasm DevExpress would not be the company that it currently is, and for that we are all very grateful.

Definitely I know the Scott in Jeans :) But it is not easy to see he represents the "Developer" part.

Congrats to the winners - commiserations to the "runners-up" (there are no losers with DevExpress!)

However, next time Rachel how about an interesting variation on the rules?  the winners get nothing and the "runners-up" get the goodies? :-))

Hehehehe.. The answer was witty. Though you should publish come of the more atrocious but yet humorous answers.
