CodeStock 2011 Here I come!

I can’t believe its almost been a whole year since the last CodeStock. It was there that I was introduced to Gary Short and Rachel Hawley. This conference set in motion the career path I am currently on: I can definitely vouch for the conference’s significance! I made tons of new friends and was introduced to the wonderful world of technical speaking. I was hooked!

This year I will be reprising the “Machine Learning for .NET” talk. This time around it has been polished up and revamped based upon numerous suggestions. In the session I will look more closely at why machine learning matters and how you can use it in your own applications today. The first half will be similar to last year’s session but in a more concise form. The second half will cover new algorithms and ideas that will build upon the concepts of the first half.

I also want to try something new this year: Send me data! If you have some data you’d like me to play around with, put it on a USB drive and lets do some number crunching. The earlier you get your data to me, the better the chance we can have to look at it.

Perhaps I am daring the demo-gods too much here, but I figured it would be more enjoyable to play with this stuff with real data.
