The next pre-release version of the eXpressApp Framework is now available. With this release we're making a great step towards a final version 1.0 release. I have updated the product pages with current information - see here:

For those of you who have been using earlier versions of the eXpressApp Framework, we have provided information about new features and critical changes since the previous (beta 1) release, both in the product web area (see above) and in the beta newsgroup.

So, please help us test the new release, and if you find any problems be sure to let us know via the newsgroup or our Support Center. Thank you!

Although I have not yet used XAP, I've been following the development. I've noticed in the B2 release notes that you've removed WWF integration. WWF is a major component for our companies future development projects, can you elaborate a bit on any planned integration with WWF.

Hi Rob,

If you've had an eye on our WF related development, you must also have noticed that we had actually come a good way with it already. WF is not removed for good, it's just not part of our 1.0 release. The reason for that is that we found it not quite as stable as the other modules that are going to be part of our 1.0 release. We will  continue working on it pretty much from now on, and I think we'll offer a preview of the separate WF module soon.

The decision to remove it - completely, for the time being - was made mainly to ensure that nobody thought it was part of the package from the beginning.

My apologies for leaving that out of the announcement. I hope this clarifies matters for you.
