Some events do not fire everytime

I have a GridView with this particularity: every field has a repository item edit attached. Changing the focused row in this GridView doesn't fire the event ValidateRow everytime. Sometimes, the ValidateRows fires, sometimes it doesn't. What could be wrong? Thank you in advance, Ovidiu
