We have a lot in store in 2019 but we need your help to refine our roadmap prior to its publication in January. The purpose of this blog post is to get your feedback and fine-tune our plans for 2019. Please take a moment to review the following features and tell us what is most important to you.

Very important is the support for repeated table headers and holding table rows together. Hyphenation would be a great thing.

Anders Wang

implement text wrapping by hieroglyphs;

Support table properties for header rows (repeat every page) and keeptogether rows;

These two request has been required for at most 8-10 years and should be ranked the most priority value

Just thought of an idea, what if we could use spreadsheet cell calculations in the cells of a table in the Word Processor?

Hi Guys,

What ended up happening with the results of this Roadmap, I noticed the other controls got a "Roadmap" blog after their respective survey blog, I can't seem to find the one that covers the Office Api.

I am desperately hoping that XLSB will be supported as I have alot of users who have migrated to using XLSB and I am having to have them re-open them and save as XLSM or XLSX to be able to import into our system. The issue is the file increases by 2-3x using XLSX or XLSM over the XLSB format. So hoping for some good news.

I must admit though after reading through the specification of XLSB (Binary) that it looks like a pain. So hoping one of your legendary programming teams can smash this out ;P

@Michael: We decided to include information about our plans in blog posts for the WinForms, WPF and ASP platforms, so that the maximum number of our users sees it.

As for your question about the XSLB/XLSM format support, we will not include it in our Roadmap for the next year, since this feature did not receive a plurality of the vote.
