CodeStock 2011–Registration and Session Voting Now Open!

You may remember a couple of weeks back, I announced that the fantastic community event, CodeStock, had once again opened registration.

This year CodeStock is returning to the brilliant downtown Knoxville, TN location with the keynote, prize draw and social event being held at the historic Bijou Theatre.

Awesome.

Where can I register?

You can register via the CodeStock website. Unfortunately, if you have not already registered, you’ve just missed the early-bird pricing. But good news – it still only costs $85.00 for this great event.

$85.00!! That would barely get you a seat in one session at one of the major national events!

Remember, your company may have a training budget, so don’t forget to approach them about the possibility of them covering your costs. Many companies have no idea that events like this exist. You could send a team of 10 to CodeStock and put them up a hotel for less than it would cost one team member to go to a national event.

This is a great opportunity for team-building and team-education. The event runs Friday and Saturday, June 3rd and 4th, so there is minimal impact to your work schedule.
