WPF SpreadSheet Control

18 October 2013

I've been sharing some of the newest controls we'll release in December over the last couple of days. For our WPF customers, we're going to be releasing a WPF SpreadSheet Control and its feature set will be much like its current WinForms counterpart.

And before you ask, I'll be posting details on the enhancements we're making to the WinForms SpreadSheet next week. :)

Here is a sample app - demonstrating the integration of our WPF Ribbon and the SpreadSheet. Let me know your thoughts.

John - Yes, our plan is to ship both of those in 13.2 (for WPF and WinForms).

Great news Ray,

Does the new control also support vectorised images and data grouping?

And native charts? Now I store the DXChart rendered image as a WMF, but it would be nicer (sometimes) to store the underlying data and construct an Excel chart based on that.

Frank, those are all things that are in development. Whether they will make it in 13.2 remains to be seen. I dont expect they will, but we are working overtime to give everyone all the things they desire from a spreadsheet.
