ASP.NET Team Blog
12 July 2009

The ASP.NET team has just finished a very important table feature for an HTML editor: cell split and merge. Using either the right context menu or the toolbar button, the ASPxHtmlEditor now has a complete table support.

Check out these ASPxHTMLEditor table cell split/merge images from the upcoming DXperience 2009 volume 2 release. This image shows the new table toolbar button:

I hope you guys work on an image "gallery" manager.. i.e., let users upload to "folders" where they can pick and choose images.. kind of like a CMS!  That would be sweet.

P.S.  This looks really good too!!!  I'm very excited to start using the new 2009.2 stuff.

Matthew, check out the sample with this support issue www.devexpress.com/.../Q104105.aspx .  It saves an image loaded to a database, that is then served up by a custom handler.

Will someone ever come up with a table editor that is similar to the one, let's say, in Expression Web, that Is actually usable?

Visually resize columns, is among the top priority.
