Even More Charts And Charting Features In v2010 vol 1 Release

Annotations Support

You can now create text or image annotations anchored to a chart, pane, or series point. You can fully customize their layout, positioning and appearance by using centralized access and management via the chart's repository.

As you can see in the following screenshot, end-users can easily move, resize and rotate annotation items.

Scrolling and Zooming Improvements

Legend Enhancements

You can now change legend marker appearance by customizing marker colors, fill style, size, visibility, and specifying a custom marker image. You can additionally customize font, color and visibility of legend text using event handlers.

Other Improvements

• A new event allows you to display custom mouse cursors.
• You can display custom text when a chart is too small to accommodate the diagram, or when a series has no data which results in an empty diagram.
• You can display minor axis tick marks only.
• You can specify an image format (bitmap or metafile) that will be used for chart's exporting or printing.
